Daily Photo Challenge 2011-2012
The goal was to post a photo daily for a year. I confess, most were taken on one or two outings a week, then edited usually on the day that I posted it . As much as I’d like to, I’ve intentionally not re-edited these photos, they are as I posted them back in 2011-2012. I’ve also resisted the urge to remove some of them that just aren’t that great.
This project fundamentally changed me as a photographer. Mostly for the better. To keep up with the pace, you have to streamline the editing. Looking at these photos again in 2023 I feel like I completely over used Nik Software’s dynamic contrast and was a bit too formulaic in how I edited them. Overall though, the bulk of my most favorite photos came from that project.
